We’ve hit midweek and sometimes people start to lose motivation.  Five o’clock on Friday is just in reach, and we want to start thinking about our weekend plans.  Let’s try to stay focused with some inspiration I stumbled across!  I was helping Ryan with something this morning and happened to read the message above on the back of one of the catalogs we hand out to customers.

Think of creative ways to stay in front of your customers.  How can you make people stop and admire your advertisement without being an interruption?  Promotional products!  I know we’re a little biased at Corporate Recognition, but here are a few things on which we’re regularly complimented.

Pens:  We hear this at almost every Chamber or networking event because we always bring a hand full of pens.  “I love it when you guys come!  Can I have another pen?  Your’s are always the best!”  For this reason we make sure our pens are good quality.  Kate usually gives them to servers when she signs her checks at restaurants.  Coming from a serving background myself, a good pen always made my day.

Notebooks:  We’re always prepared at those events with extra writing pads to hand out with our names on it.  Half the people forget to bring writing material.  We’re always to the rescue!

These are just small examples.  I don’t want to give away ALL our secrets.  Here’s what I’m getting at.  We are basically MAKING people ASK for us to advertise to them.  Can you say the same about radio and television commercials?  Billboard, newspaper, or internet ads?  No!  These are interruptions.  We choose not look at them, scroll past them, change the channel or simply tune them out.  What will you use to advertise your business?  What makes you unique?  We can help you find the right product for you :)
